Crossroads Automotive is one of the greenest tire dealerships in California. In times like these, it is important to protect the environment so our children and future generations can live prosperous lives. Crossroads has taken many initiatives to do just that.

For example, we carry Cooper Tires, which use an eco-friendly oil during the manufacturing process. Cooper also has a number of low rolling resistance tires. Furthermore, fans of our Hankook tires have sung the praises of their high performance and environmental design. Kinergy Eco, one of Hankook’s newest tires, is highly eco-friendly. Hankook is developing a line of commercial tires known as E³, symbolizing energy (low rolling resistance), economy (high mileage), and environment (reduced hazardous materials).

Yokohama has also developed a method for making tires out of citrus oil and natural rubber. The inner walls of the tire are also thinner to prevent air loss and improve fuel economy. Crossroads Automotive also carries Yokohama tires and we expect to have tires made in this manner in stock soon.

While the products we sell help protect the environment, we here at Crossroads Automotive are doing our part as well. We have installed energy efficient lightbulbs, and we turn off all of our registers and computers when we leave for the day. Our thermostats are programmable, and we crush and recycle air filters in the auto shop. We are responsible with our waste and scrap metal.
